Freddie Oram Wood

I’m a media production graduate with a strong focus on cinematography and visual storytelling. My work spans narrative short films, promotional content, and experimental projects, with an emphasis on mood, movement, and clean visual composition.

My short film Parcels marked a key point in my development, allowing me to explore narrative structure, pacing, and character-driven storytelling through controlled camerawork and editing. Following this project, I shifted focus towards promotional filmmaking, creating a cinematic video centred on the vehicle itself. This work moved away from narrative and instead highlighted design, movement, and versatility through purposeful framing and camera motion.

Alongside narrative and promotional work, I regularly experiment with sound design, montage, and visual rhythm, drawing influence from experimental film theory to strengthen my understanding of how image and sound work together.

I’m particularly interested in cinematography-led projects and visually driven storytelling, and I’m keen to continue developing my skills across both narrative and commercial environments.
